    for the black plastic pipe that runs from the top of the rad to the engine somwhere, the one with the small tee off that goes to the water bottle, im sure you no the one. just noticed its weeping alot. as its only plastic im assuming it will snap rather soon. or if anyone has a good secondhand one jim

    intresting how the courses are only offered by certain forces. gotta be better than 3 points. its not speed that kills its the lack of concentration or faling to notice. btw, i dont condone speeding, im just saying time and places for everything, and horses for corses etc.

    i brought one, got some generic maps, we'll find out just what you can do in good time. can also use it as a obd2 scanner, so vag-com will still work.

    do the kwp2000 based ecu flashers , work on the mk3 , providing of course you have a map for them ?? just thinking of buying one, abnd having a play.

    you can hear the opto clicking, so i think theres life the lead end. its so annoying, im thinking of trying another lead just to make sure, but that means having to order one.

    i have tried all baud rate from 0 - 32000 , still no joy, i am thinking my lead is dead. im gonna try and see if you can clear the com port assignments and start over like that. although it does say port ok and interface not found..iv also tried taking the battery off and doing a reset like that, hoping it may bump the k line back into life.

    nah , was a super smooth crossing , as you are in a boat based on a catermaraine (spelling) , so you end up gliding , rather than crashing through the waves.

    right, ive had a cable for ages and have used the software before on 2 laptops. but ive now got my cable back , and it wont find the interface..it finds the port ok 'com 3' but no interface, ignition is on as is light on the dongle. so im thinking power supply to the cars rs232 port. is there a fuse for this??? help, as i want to put my abs light out. jim
