  4. Looks / sounds like a great find mate, nice one. I love the smoothed tailgate look. Really liked it on that black VR a new guy (soz, don't remember your name) brought to Billing. ^^^ as James said, wann see this colour coded dash :-# When are you about, so I can drop by and see it? Drop me a text dude.
  5. Yeah c'mon Ben! I spent feckin ages last night reading through this thread to catch up on the news, but i'm still in the dark! Is it really another mk3 Golf, or has he fed us a red herring there? I've got a feeling it's a VR engine in something else...

  8. Sorry to hear about this mate. I don't know the guy myself, but I hope you get something sorted one way or another. Don't like to hear about stuff like this happening in our club.
  9. Just u quickie to say that I tried you for a quote, but unfortunately couldn't beat my current renewal offer. However, the bloke I spoke to (Martin) was very friendly and helpful and I would certainly try you guys again for next year
  10. He did make Valuev look silly didn't he! It was like a giant ogre trying to swat a fly and being 3 secs behind every time! I think the other plus point for Haye is he showed he can box as well as punch and do it for the full 12 rounds too. But he will need to get his guard up more against quicker oppenents. Didn't like the way his chin was hanging out for half the fight.
  11. Anyone see the Haye fight last night? What did you think on the decision? I thought he did really well, especially considering his hand injury early on. Adapted his game plan and did what he had to do. Must admit though, I was surprised he got the judges decision. Normally in such a non-eventful fight, they tend to sway towards the current champ. Plus it was in Valuev's adopted home country, so that made the decision even more surprising. Well chuffed for Haye though. Maybe he can bring back a little bit of excitement to what is currently a dead heavyweight division.
  12. ^^^ think that's exactly what he's doing. He obviously isn't trying to sell it, but if the magazine exposure prompts someone into paying over the odds then he'll take it. Fair play i guess.
  13. Not doing anything will encourage me mate..............oh so will doing something.....oh well XX Hahahahaa!!!
  14. Well yeah, so did i, funnily enough!
  15. My lady has a Puma, which i would say is alright looking....for a girls car anyway.
  16. Personally i wouldn't want debt in the current financial climate. But up to you dude. I would make the missus wait
  17. Am gutted i seem to have missed out on getting mine 'charged. I hate knowing how potentially quick my car is, but living in the reality of it having a much bigger bark than it's bite
  18. I was up there for a bit, but only saw Scott. Although i did leave off pretty early in the end.
  19. Agree with you there Anna. Great write-up though Ben and a great idea. Well done Helen. A very worthy first car for the feature :-)
  20. Very nice mate. The paint job is definately different! Like it though. Any mods to the engine, or is it standard?
  21. Sorry, i'm gonna have to give this a miss. Got a works do on Fri night and there is no chance i'll be in a fit state to drive on Sat morning. Hope this doesn't mess things up for you Brett.
  22. Another unfortunate incident to add to the list then Chris I take it you're not supersticious? I think if it was me, i would be swapping that car for a different VR!
  23. Does this have much of a detrimental effect on the fuel economy when just wanting to cruise at 'normal' motorway speeds?
