  1. Yeah I do prefer the B&W pics myself, gotta say. Just realised as well, I had my camera set on the lowest quality pics, so prob not come out as well as they could have done. Oh well. Next time...
  2. Ben and I went out yesterday to try and find a decent location for a bit of a phot shoot of our VR's. Well it turned out to be a bit of a struggle trying to find a decent spot, but we got a few half decent shots in the end. Let us know what you think..... and the colour shots (some are the same as B&W version).....
  3. Wow, what a spot! Fair play to you fella and nice to hear of someone showing some major VR lovin!
  4. I'm with them too. Can't say a bad word about 'em. Highly recommended.
  5. Think you already know anyway, but i'll be there for this.
  6. Ah don't get me started on that :@ That's the one thing I hate about Billing, is there always seems to be loads of the little f*ckers about (yes, I mean wasps, not Polo's!),
  7. Stick me and Becs down for this. From what you told us last year Ben, this should be a great show! As for fancy dress on Sat night, pirates gets my vote, cos i've already got an outfit for that from another party!
  8. Errrrr...???!!?! South East Convoy!!!! Woooo!! ha ha yes am sure there will be one of those but Steve and I are extra special and have our own ( hopefully by then mate !! ) Supercharged little convoy from Norwich down a lovely bit of road then we can meet up with the rest of you :) massive convoy stylee You know it mate Well, that's assuming it's all been sorted by then......stranger things have happened 8-)
  9. Nice one fella, glad all is well
  10. As mentioned on phone, brilliant results and well done on getting it all sorted Out of interest, which fuel pump does Vince recommend on "lower powered" VR's then?
  11. I know, I know! :-p I won't spoil Ben's party though, you'll have to wait for him.....
  12. Here ya go......... Sorry, having a 'mare trying to resize them :@
  13. Glad you've got it all sorted dude and yes, it does sound evil! I'm sure it sounds louder than it did on your old VR? (the charger) Just to back up Ben's comments of thanks to Jim and Tony, it really was a superb effort from them, particularly near the end of the day when it was feckin freezing, getting dark and it seemed like it was one problem after another. All that on top of already spending most the day working on my car too. Top work lads
  14. Looks sweet as, mate (h) New house looks very nice too.
  15. Not had one myself, but i know alot of VR owners either go for them, or the BMC-CDA which is what i've got.
  16. Yes. I use a pressure washer. Is it better to rinse off with running water then?
  17. I'm sure you'll get some other responses on here from other people too. Prob a bit late for it at the mo! But there are others on here who have turbo'd their VR.
  18. Best bet is to speak to Jim Potter on here. He currently has a VR turbo and I think he pays somewhere around £400 a year for insurance. Best check with him though. Here is his build thread if you are interested http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?231150.post
  19. That's really helpful, thanks! I do have a mild polish as well as a T-cut. I was going to use that once, then stick to the mild polish after that. The bit I have most trouble with when cleaning the car is water marks. I've tried so many different techniques and still can't seem to completely avoid it :@ I've even gone to the extend of washing the car panel by panel and drying as I go. This is a right chore, but seems to be the most successful, but still doesn't completely eliminate all the water marks Any tips on this?
