    the gasket i used is a mk4 3 layer m8,its def thinner and yer its obd1.. think it is down to the chip i had in?

    its quite a bit thinner tbh think it highers comp to 10.5.? ive drove it with std chip and i think it doesnt do it now.. maybe due to the advanced motorsport chip being advanced up to much for the comp? ill give it sum more beans 2moz...lol

    umm i timed up engine, pretty sure it is spot on.. ive put the std chip bk in tonite, so ill see if it still does it.. 3 layer gasket is thiner than std one so compression will be higher?

    u really need all the right equipment like a D/A to rub all the marks out, they will need priming which would be ok to use a etch primer in a spray can, u could use aerosol to base them up, but really u want to clear coat them with a spray gun...hope this helps..

    umm just a quick question, ive recently put a 3 layer metal head gasket on my car.. obviously this has highered the compression.. has anyone had any problem with pinking after fitting one..? i swear i heard some on my car when booting it... i have a chipped ecu and maybe the timing has been advanced a little more than std... could this cause the prob with the 3 layer gasket .. it was fine b4...

    hey , my m8 says he removed the fuse for the speedo on his r32, and now the air bag light wont go out?? anyone know why, or how to put it out? is it a vag-com job..

    tonite i finished putting my car bk together... started first time aswell, well chuffed, and saved my self £££'s in the end i changed the following rear engine mount chains and guides/tensioners mk4 3 layer head gasket and bolts rebuilt obd2 head/plastic rocker cover ive painted my inlet manifold aswell, coz it was so dirty, and didnt have time to polish it..lol post sum pics 2moz.. tbh honest it wasnt as bad job as i thought... enjoyed it aswell..
