    swapped head to a later obd2 one with low miles, had the head stripped and pressure tested, skimmed and had new valve stem seals fitted...

    i done engine mount, head rebuild, chains and guides etc

    i got chains and guides/tensioners etc for bout 150 from vw wit discount..

    i done mine the other day, quite easy really... i removed front bumper, grille, headlamps and front panel.. this way u have full access to everything.. first i removed head(u may not want to) remove all wiring etc, waterpipes, gear cables... undo drive shaft bolts. and this point i put a trolley under engine undone engine mount bolts and drop engine/box on to trolley.. then just pull out of engine bay...hope this helps?     i had gps in my car and it shows that i was doing 82 in 3rd on limiter ?? cant understand why my car is geared different to all u guys/gurls.. could sumthing not be right sumwhere?? ive done 142 in it b4... pretty much flat out tho..

    mine does no where near that in 3rd shows about 85??? i got 17''s on would that put speedo out?? are there different ratio boxes u can get for a VR?? seems odd??
