    use reinforced plastic filler to smooth line.. and buzz off, and go over the top with easy sand filler to finish...

    right tonite i fitted new chains and guides, timed it all up, and bolted flywheel, clutch and box bk on, just waiting head to come bk from machine shop... one thing tho is i cant see any timing marks on the crank pulley???

    i just got 2x chains, 2x guides, top and bottom tensioner for £137.76 all in...from vw aswell

    when fitting center caps on my TT comps the rear ones foul the stud axle and wont push in... do u fit wheel spacers?? if so wot size???

    umm do we need a club display ticket, coz ive not got one, or do we just pay on the gate and go to our pitch??and also my car isnt going to driveable as its in bits!!     has anyone ever done just the guides and tensioners and not the chains......im skint.. or is it not worth the risk....advice pls..

    simple question... is a head off a obd2 engine the same as a head off a obd1 engine??? my obd1 head is knackered and i have a complete obd2 one, so i was going to swap spockets on the cams and chuck it on.. also are the cams the same etc anyone know??

    do i have to remove the studs from the early head to fit the late spec rocker cover?? how do i do this??

    its the top chain guide,, but now im thinking if the tops are fucked the bottom chain guides maybe to?? is it ok to just replace all the guides and not the chain? its only got to last till my 2.9 engine has been built??

    hey peeps, right ive had a prob with my car pressurising the header tank for ages now, well since ive had the car! ive never got to the bottom of it, well today i took the thermostat out and had a look.....and found that some one has drilled two holes in it?? well i put a new one in and now it boils up straight away, all the pipes are rock solid.. so i got pissed off and took the head off. i think the head gasket has gone on one cylinder, also i noticed that bits of my old water pump were wedged in the water ways in the gasket!! so i thought well ill just change the gasket and skim the head ,
