    the gear selector thing on my gearbox snapped. so i got another one.. its the bit the cables bolt to to change gear.. ive fitted it, and it works ok, but is a bit notchy going in 5th? ive noticed there is adjustment where the cables bolt to it.. so can anyone tell me the correct way to set it up, do u just leave the bolts loose and put it in a certain gear to line it up and the tighten it all up?? cheers peeps

    my m8 had 18's as well, depends on offset.. one thing i will say it was a very hard ride running 35's, and rubbed on full lock.. not really ideal.. stick to 17's for hassle free..

    im wit adrian flux, really gd.. but just had my renewal and its more than last yr.. i asked why and they said they couldnt get it any cheaper.. couldnt be arsed to look any where else.. and they want 50 quid to cancel it ne ways coz policy has started..

    i just had mine MOT'd... i have No cat..if u have no cat it should fail... mine passed somehow because the bloke said it was on the changeover yr?? its a 1992.. he said it lists for both on that yr?? i would say just try it u never know...?

    how long do ppl spend on the net in their own time, not at work..? i usually spend every evening on it, and every lunch time.. must be like 4-5 hrs.. its crazy.. and im addicted to myspace and facebook again...help!!!

    yer it wore thro the metal ha,ha... not really noisy?? bit raspy,.. only noticed coz i i had the head off coz the gasket went!! good job to, i reckon a couple more weeks and it would of let go??

    i changed the whole lot coz mine had done 140k, and no history saying they had been done!! gd job i did!! the chains do snap, not very often tho. u dont wont to do the job twice, and if it does snap, then u will prob do alot of internal damage to the engine!!!     i did hear that, some early 0bd2 engines were still duplex? u can check by ur engine numba?? dont think ur benefit alot by converting to single chain.. think they just wear less.. and had better tensioner..

    just had my car MOT'd and it passed.. but the advisory notice says that i have deterioration on the n/s front lower anti-roll bar linkage rubber mounting??? wot do these look like?? and where can i get sum decent new ones??
