    I honestly don't mind edition, good for ideas, but I really think that I'm too old for chatting on there, I mean I don't even wear a silly big baseball cap, batman belt , and my trousers actually hang off my hips instead of the underside of my scrotum .

    I was looking over a year... but i gave up for a few months in between granted, wanted a vr with no rust!!, low mileage, and not been messed about with too much.

    dissapointlingly i am fishing in France for two weeks at the start of august, so can't make this... , bloomin missed last years one too!. I'll have to make as many of the other shows as i can .

    He sold that straight after UD last year, my car was next to it inside, he commented he wasn't that happy with the paintwork I remember. Apart from the rear lights at one point I think he had great taste .

    Good news mate, as I thought really, and I have an idea where it could possibly be, there is a takeoff from the charge pipe to the throttle body for the dump valve, which rubs slightly on the brake res...., I'll also spray out the dv as I have had a sticky one before on my last Scoob which caused the same thing along with boost leak.

    Maybe a clutch sensor too i read?....

    As title really, on my vr6 revs hang for a second or two on gear changes, and drop slower than they have before, worse when cold. The problems i can think of is a vaccuum leak or a problem in the throttle body area?, maybe even lambda or something, what do you guys think? considering the pipework gets messed around with often at the mo cheers

    Nice!, i was in the south of france a couple of years ago and some planes started flying over one by one, think the last one was a mirage or typhoon or something and he broke the sound barrier, never ever heard or felt anything like it!! .

    Well Pete and tony have just done this obd2 conversion on a Rado so hopefully they will be along soon

    I did an obd2 conversion on my obd1 golf, and it bd and apparent to me that over the years of productions there were slight changes throu-ought. Things like 3 or 4 pin mafs, different cam sensors etc. fans can be different along with the fan control module but the main reason for this is aircon, or non aircon.
