    i am thinking of fitting a milltek full exhaust system, now , they do a cat bypass pipe, my golf being 1996 has a cat and i would like to get rid of it, but am i right in thinking this will invalidate the mot, or at least i will have to put the cat back on come mot time? is it worth all the hassle, shall i just leave it on and get a cat back exhaust?

    i think you are right, the cold air feed given by the bmc cda has to be the most efficient overall i think, not too noisy is good too, although you can create you own cold air feed with any air filters, using heat shielding, tubes,ducts and vents, but then you are risking somekind of inlet turbulence/noise into the filter which loses you any benefits that you might have gained?

    Hi people, just wondering which induction kit to get for my highline? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated please, cost doesnt matter, dont want one that is really noisy but maybe one that enhances the lovely v6 sound would be welcome, perhaps the deciding factor would be the induction kit that gives the biggest bhp gain, thanks again for looking

    thanks to both of you, probably will go with 7.5 then, just to be safer, does it cost a lot to get arches rolled? i assume if you get them flared you will need a respray? maybe if they are rolled also, do you know if it costly?

    thanks mate, so you are saying it should be ok on 17X8j with stretched tyres? like 205's and also just experiment with coilovers, nice car by the way

    hi there ppl, just a quick question, thinking of lowering my highline and putting new wheels on her, does anyone now as a rule or roundabouts the limits on how far you can lower, to how big or wide the wheels can be before having to roll or flare the arches? i know there can be a lot of variables like pdc and et etc, but i was thinking of lowering between 55 and 60mm on coilovers, and getting some 17" X 8 rims on the front and back, maybe not so wide on the front if not possible, or is it with camber? i dont know, please help if you can, thanks
