what sort of temps you getting? VR's a hot runners to begin with You would see a decent temp drop with new oil and coolant (50/50 mixed g12+) and its worth fitting a low temp coolant thermostat aswel, only £16 from awesome gti! -

Ive never seen the point in them really? Ive always liked the setup thats there OE as i think it lubes the TB a little bit with the gases coming from that outlet Even now with a charger fitted mine still recycles the gases back round and Raj @NS told me it was worth keeping

I think its like bulk buying fuel, you fill up, give them you card and it is billed to pipeline, who you then pay back Its like pipeline having an account with say, shell, where they buy 1000's of litre of fuel a day at a discount bulk rate think thats how it works anyway

Very unimpressed with magnex as the welds rusted and it didnt actually sound much different from OE In the end i was either gonna go for powerflow or supersprint Went for powerflow as i didnt have the cash for a supersprint, or though i will get on at some point as they sound awesome when its a full system Powerflow is quality materials, lifetime warranty and you can spec exactly what you want, but, as with all custom exhaust companys it will only be as good as the bloke making it. I live 5 mins from their UK HQ so they are spot on from there, but have heard of 1 or 2 places being let down by

a minter Ford RS1800 Fiesta, chipped with full magnex, k&n, 16's and low as it would go, loads of history £300 (parkers guide was £2000 at the time!) just needed new front wheel bearings and drivers door lock sold for £1000 2 years later after it died on the driveway of the guy i bought the VR off bodged it and flogged it! haha -

I just did the stat, but you'll need the housing aswel as they tend to be brittle so break when you take them off, only about £15 though
