  1. Try another o2 sensor - the heaters are known to fail in them, especially in aftermarket replacements

    FLOODS!!!

    Anyone near reading got problems?
  3. I would say count the number of wires to the o2 sensor. If it's 3 or 4, the sensor is heated and the heater has failed, If there are 1 or 2 wires, it's something else - try teh ecu temp sender...

Completely agree, the only reason I'm interested in it is to see how efficient the engine is running (i.e. look for drops indicating a problem) so I can get max power when I dont give a stuff about the economy
  8. I bought my vr6 to do miles in it - fuel cons aint that bad. It cost me 2100 quid and now has 107,000 miles on it, when I get bored of it and it's on 150,000, it's worth sod all, so I've lost 2k... How many cars can you drive that are comfortable, fast relaible that cost you 2k for 50,000 miles?????

  18. I went for a set of leads from euro car parts they were 30 + VAT and have been fine! I'd always go for a genuine one lambda - seen too many go wrong too early. Bear in mind, OEM has lasted 10 years plus...
  19. lol, hands up, new SACHS shocks on there and the problems have gone
  20. Does the fuel not normally get removed from the bottom and therefore it's irrelevant as to how much is in there as the crud will always be at the bottom of the tank ???
