    Sorry,me again.... whenever I brake hard, I feel a small clunk coming from the steering wheel and when I push hard on the wheel (towards the screen / towards my knees), the column moves a tiny bit... Any ideas what it could be? Rack mounts?

    Sod all m8 which is why I think the shocks are ok. Maybe the springs are knackered but I dont want to lower it as I'll have hassle insuring it

    Had a look under her today and front wishbone bushes are shot Rear shocks aren't leaking at all and one looks to have been recently replaced with a VW item!

    Any ideas what needs changing first - the rear end on my 97 is all over the place at the limit. I know not to lift the throttle but as soon as I straighten up out of the corner, the back wants to overtake the front - it kinda wallows and starts a tank slapper... What do people think is up? I aint got the £££ to do bushes, shocks and springs....

    97 P with 103k on it. Head gasket and chains been done before I bought it Putting lots on her as that's what they are for. Want to hit 200K in her

    It's already got clear on it I was just wetsanding the clear to make it level to remove orange peel

    They are meant to go in between major sus / subframe mounts and tighten it all up. Only thing is, that's ali which aint the toughest material in the world...

    Chains replaced? I wouldn't be worried by the mileage - if it were french on that miles, I'd run a mile but I'd consider that at the right price

    Whenever I wind the drivers front window up, the glass gets to the top of the door, then I hear a crack and it stops. Doesn't appear to crack the window but I'd like to stop the noise - any ideas where to look first?
