    ok stripped it down and the c.v joint has broken its lost the ball bearings and some other little bits inside it.

    dam my aux water pumps leaking as well maybe we should do a group buy or somthing.

    ye i remeber seeing the white caddy being built there when i was driving past i used to drive patjust to see what had been done to it.lol i used to live by oldfield circus in northolt

    the hub nut holds the cv joint into the hub but the joint itself bangs onto the drive shaft. hope that make sense for ya mate.

    ye i think your right mate i was having a look today and i was pushing the engine back and forth with hand and there is a bit of movement in the mounts. im going to strip it down tomoz and have a better look im hoping its just poped out and not snapped but it looks like it has just poped out.

    aint got a clue i pulled off quite hard then it just died with the horrible grinding noise.

    silly me didnt look prop the dive shaft poped out the drivers side

    was just driving home stopped at the lights then pulled off a little hard then there was nothing just a grinding the car was in gear but would not move just makes a grinding sound any ideas i had a look at the shafts they seem to be intact.

    sound to me like you belt tensioner it on its way out.

    call headoffice mate on the back of your invoice theres a number think its 08706060654 and complain. what suspension did you have fitted must have standard as we dont do any other anyway.
