the vin plate is black under the bonnet on the slam panel to the left if the recips have the reg on them then i would be happy with that and yes sevice hisrory can easy be faked. miles aint that big of adeal with these engines mine now on 122k and still going strong.

if you get a p-reg that will be obd2 for deffo but like said above they started late 95.

hmmm well in the long run mate it will always be up to you at the end of the day its you money and it will be your car which ever car you feel most happy with. the abs light isnt that big of a deal to be hounest. best this to do is have a think about what i said above and go with what ever you are happy with it doent matter what any body elsr thinks its your money and you will have to live with the car every day nobody else hope that helps mate.

ok car B well to be hounest mate i wouldnt buy a car with out service history does it have any bill or recipts for the service instead of the servie book ?? car A sound hounest to me to what you have said about the car if it was me i woulnt be to fussed about the car having every mot as long as it has all the service history. i was lucky when i got mine it has all mots nearly all tax discs and full service history vw bar 2.

wow a grand i must have been luck when mine was done total cost including skimming the head it cost me 210 all in. -
i must agree get it all done at once especialy the side panels as they need to be blended into each other other wise you wount get a good colour match imo that is

this seems to be falling through big time the guy is messing me around so much...grrrrrrrrrrr. i can get the wheels off him but hes messing sround with the polishing any body jnow any were reasonably priced as i have had some silly prices.

i only had 1 rear arch drivers side rolled when the arch got hit so i got it rolled to push it back out then had the car resprayed and new wings fitted but never got round to doning the other side the and the new front wings havent been rolled either so would 35mm be ok still. when i had my tt comps on i had no probs at all they sat perfect under the archs i would love these to sit the exact same.

rich ye that one has damage but there not the actual wheels im getting the ones im getting aint even been polished yet so will be fresh.

may have a front bumper coming up soon if you want it you can have it free but like i say maybe if every thing goes to plan.

ok im getting some porsche 7x16 ET65 never had a set of porsche wheels so i njust wanted to find out whats the best thickness adapter to get i dont want them sitting to far into the archs but agian not to far out so they scrap the archs im thinking of going for 40mm adapters all round but like i say im new to the porsche setup and dont no much about them. or maybe 40 on the rear and 35 at the front ???

should i go for 35mm all round or 35mm on the front and 40mm at the rear

looks like obd1 to me.

what would be the best size adapters to get for these wheels they are 7x16 et 65 i would like them to sit about the same as the TT comps sat under the archs but cant think what they were 71/2j et42 does that sound right would a 25mm adapter all round make them sit similar or should i get 30mm at the rear and 25mm up front but dont want to get any arch probs.
