happy birthday mate!! hope my vr is turbo`d by the time i`m 22, only 6 months and counting!!

mines has the 6 disc cd holder in the centre console! not sure if thats optional extra or not!

my last car passed my on the dual carriage way, about 30mins after gettin told on the phone the wishbone and bearings had just arrived!!! now i`m no top notch mechanic but theres no way u can fit a front wishbone and 2 wheel bearing in half an hour!!!

i`m 21 no no claims and my vr is insured fully comp with bell direct for 770!!! i got there quote through the insurance search on autotrader, oh but i do live in a little wee quiet town, well it was quiet till i got a vr.

thats fair enough i suppose, i would never contemplate puttin my car there for work to be done or remap though! i would of had them tucked up inside just now! no way would i use them on the roads lately!! very brave man!!

yeah my faith in the guy sorta dropped when after it ran he said it was like a v-tec! i`m sure he knew it was a golf but never mind! i`ve no experience with him but other than that comment he seemed a sound bloke aswell as the other boys! was just a bit gutted payin cash to find it it didnt make the power i hoped! where were u slim, did u chicken out? car loks tidy with the wheels by the way

ran my car at the eastside vw rolling road day yesterday, overall it was a good day(bloody cold though) the graph from stealth said 211bhp and 201lb/ft so was hopin for anywhere near that!! but it ran a 195bhp and 180lb/ft i think i may hav some faults codes cauzin losses in both as the car stalls at idle after hard driving! it still feels as quick as when i first picked it up so i think i mite just forget bout yesterdays graph!

earlier on today i was out in the vr with a full tank off optimax showin a pal why its better than his astra turbo, we cam eup behind two moped sittin beside each other takin up the whole lane, i followed behind them for ages then they eventually changed to one behind the other, so i dropped to second and floored it just as i floored it and it started growlin the guy on the moped at the back turned round to see what was makin the extreme noise and turned at the same time, he went shootin across the road and flying through the fench and landed entangled in his moped, he was ok but my god it was

i have koni top adjustables and eibach 40mm springs, eibach strut brace and arb`s, and fully polybushed. i`d rate my them very well, feels solid and safe cornering at speed. as long as my tyre pressures are ok. if there low then its a rough ride.

i`m with wannadoo, i hav the 1.1mbps connection but for some reason its normally up at bout 1.5, havent had any problems with it as yet (touch wood)

got my first speedin ticket through yesterday but htey hav spelt my first name wrong!! my name is craig and on the letter it says graige! was just curious if i can get off with the points and fine seein as its not actually my name?? maybe just wishful thinkin, cheers

i`m 21, no no claims, no points yet but there on the way! i got 770 fully comp with bell direct!! mods declared i think they made a mistake cauz that was teh quote from before new year, after new year i tried again and they wouldn`t, so i used the history folder got the quote back and used the reference number, the guy seemed quite confused but everything is correct on the cover note!! well chuffed
