    i had a very strange problem today i have 15" wheels from a mk4 gti had no probs at all until i had the front brake pads obviously the pads opened the calipers up a cpl of mm went to drive off and clunk the caliper caught the wheel buggered off home and fetch 2 solitudes ie the original wheels and lo and behold it still hit the caliper in the end i got 3 mm spacers iv been told the standard wheel bolts r fine and it wont eat the wheel bearing my question is why the fook do standard wheels catch on (afaik) standard brakes anybody have any ideas as were stumped

    prone to wear rather than fail which can cause chains to jump 1 or 2 teeth 1 tooth is ok itl just run badly 2 teeth may eat the top end

    i like s3s u think a vr6 is raw !dodge ??? uv obviously never driven a 1 litre fiesta at 100 mph as for the power coming in a big lump thats the turbo spooling up 1 thing that bugs me about turbos is they cost bugger all to get big power from if u bought 1 ud deffo miss the 6 pot noise

    i would expect a turbo to kick at mid revs then tail off a bit at higher revs although iv never had a turbo so may be talkin from my arse hehe

    its not perception its gear ratios increased rolling radius means longer gears means worse acceleration
