    TORQUE IS POWER BHP IS HOW WELL IT USES IT ie a civic type r has about 145 lb ft which isnt exactly earth shattering its is quick because it revs to about 9k revs!!! which means honda can slap ridiculasly short gear ratios in it a gear is a torque multiplier its that simple short gear ratios multiply torque more than long ratios (ie a vr box) meaning more torque at the wheels if u want to prove it stick a ctr gear box in a vr6 and watch it fooking fly hehe
