    Well I'm based in London he's near Newcastle (durham). Already been upto Glasgow to collect my RH Toplines and don't particulary fancy doing that again!!

    Cars up for sale soon as its resprayed. May have considered it if I was keeping the car esp as its black, the carbon fibre bonnet would look trick.

    Got a my other golf (not the VR, but another MK3) going in for a respray on Monday and need a replacement bonnet. Tried GSF and Euro car parts. Tried a few salvage yards and no joy . Running out of ideas and places to search. Anyone know one for sale or where I may be able o get one at a reasonable price :| ? Cheers folks [ Edited ]

    Running 215's as they came with that and can't afford new tryes esp as Im after a new exhaust and BMC air filter. Get rubbing on the front end so coring is very slow. will harden the dampers a little and see if that helps. Less rebound less rubbing sounds good in theory. Thanks for all the comments too guys

    Exhaust needed on the back end of mine too, but still can't decide which one. Just don't look the same with it standard

    Its a Zender one, suits car as its black but not sure how it would look on anohter car.

    Thanks guys but there fitted some time ago along with the RH Toplines will get some pic's up as soon as I find my camera charger. Had them fitted by Style Dynamix by the way.

    I've always had Remus on my Golf's (both MK3's) and nver had a problem. Not too loud and in your face and good build quality. Can get them from Elite in Dagenham.

    Just curious whay you guys/girls do for the general up keep of your VR. I know you'll check oil, water levels and tyre pressures reg. but what else? Just wana make sure I'm doing the small basic things on a regular basis. Cheers

    Yep I'll second that. The other popular choice seems to be Ram Air. Was a air filter test in Revs and BMC came out top.

    I'd say try elephant, I'm paying £634 4ncb and limited to 4000 (got 2 cars) and thats insured in london. Cheapest I got prior to that was £900 thru Adrian Flux. Annoying but ring round you will get it cheaper.
