  1. Get your wheels alignment and tracking done when fitting coilovers and that will sort out your camber.
  2. Must be doing something wrong as im only avg'n 31mpg
  3. Its held in Hayes near Heathrow just off the A40 at their unit.
  4. Was gonna say that but didn't wana go there, still nice roads for letting the VR be pushed. Not been to a J29 meet yet, but may do if time allows. Had suspension fitted at Style Dynamix, and they got a show n shine happening on 25th July. Was a good turn out last year from memory . Where is J29 meet?
  5. Thats far out Essex, I'm from East London. Told myself when I got the VR I would keep it standard, that lasted for three months! [ Edited Thu Jun 17 2004, 12:06AM ]
  6. Yeah just a little dated LOL. Can't bear the look of the standard exhaust althou funds are a little tight now. Where in essex you from mate?
  7. Got them fitted mate, if it was standard suspension I may have been tempted but wanted to make sure I got it right with the coilovers.
  8. I've had the wheels three months so I hear your frustration. Decided against rolling my arches as I've got 215/40/17's but still managed a sweet drop. Will get some pic's up as soon as I find my camera charger LOL. Now for air filter BMC CDA and exhaust which as of yet I'm undecided.
  9. Got the coilovers and RH Toplines fitted today and to say I'm chuffed is an understatement. Can't stop grinning totally tranformed the car. Even the guy who MOT'd the car this morning was lost for words!!!
  10. Have seen it being done but think I'm mechanically challenged LOL. Probably end up doing something wrong and costing me twice as much knowing my luck!
  11. Need to get the FK's fitted !amazed so curious if anyone had any experiences with either Style Dynamix or Yaash Motorsport? Any other london company thats comes recommended would also be helpful. Cheers
  12. Agree with Olly VR6 front spoiler would set it off nice. Car looks very clean and sweet!
  13. There £100 + VAT from a VW dealer, mine needs replacing too.
  14. Tommy, how low you got your car and have you had the arches rolled? Don't really wana roll the arches incase the paint cracks.
  15. Yeah got the same tyres and was told to switch to 205's but am too skint esp after geting the FK coilovers. How you find the ride?
  16. Thought diamond cutting wasn't as good as polishing in the long run. Well sure I read that somewhere. And polishing definitely looks better!
  17. Tommy what tyres do you have on the RH's now? Also think Advance Autosport Tech do adapters at around £130, was i n the PVW mag about a month or two ago. [ Edited Wed Jun 09 2004, 10:03PM ]
  18. Knew that wouldn't go unoticed, but hey its a VW and still a VR6. Just find it a bit annoying, mate suggested it may be the spark plugs, but has been serviced recently by VW which included the sparks. Still a young engine as its only covered 25000 miles.
  19. Noticed over the weekend while driving a flat spot a 40-50 mph. Its an automatic and the pull just isn't there during this speed (3rd gear i think). Only really responds if I floor it. Any suggestions? Cheers
  20. As Pittuf says wack it on a interest free card and then worry bout paying it later, I am!!
  21. 7x16 size. How would they sit in the arches? Would I need spacers?
  22. Just a quick question, can these wheels be fitted to my VR? Not too clued uo on all this. Cheers
  23. Remus, never had a problem with it, not too loud and build quality is good.
  24. I'd go for Pzwo's but the Mk4 Golf ones and adapt them to fit. Haven't seen them on a MK3 to date and they look very nice (IMO).
