  2. Really don't understand insurance companies. My VR is standard bar the wheels and suspension and I have 6 points doing the usual calling around and get some real funny quotes £2000+ cheers Tesco &| . But start getting some decent price noteablly from Brentacre (£835). Then called HIC they bettered it still (£800) and only company let was Adrian Flux (really didn't wana go there) nice quote of £720 inc allowance for air filter and exhaust. Thought one last try with HIC again and they went down to....................£635 inc non competive track day cover and air filter and exhaust.

  4. It's insurance time again and I'm not a 100% certain of the alarms background. Its made by Logic I think and am told that it's a CAT1. Can anyone confirm and if so where I may be able to obtain a certificate for insurance purposes. Cheers

  6. What sort of mileage does it have. They normally need a rebuild at round 80000 miles. Ps I have an auto box too!!

  8. Cheers ACF8181, does break it up a touch. Cost £150 (£125 for a three dr). I put a link up a week ago gor a group buy. Guys did a real good job.
  9. I think legal has to let in 70% of light and mine are 50% so I guess not. Doesn't look too dark, sorta suttle.

    Decided to get them done, so thought I'd put a few pic's up esp as I cleaned her today. What you guys think? Was really hard deciding what % to go for but went for 50% all the way round in the end. Pic's were taken quite late in the day so they may appear slighty darker. [ Edited ]

  19. A recent airfilter test in Redline found that the BMC gave the highest performance gains on the rollers. Think the gain was bout 11.6 bhp.
  20. BMC CDA is always a popular choice amongst peeps althou a lil pricey. Ram is another which others will tell you gives off quite a noise.
  21. Once you've parked up the fans are normally running still. Noticed a slight tapping noise coming from them last night. Car hadn'e been driven for a few weeks so weren't too sure what it could be. Don't particualry want to drive it as the noise has made me para. Anyone got a clue what it may be? Cheers
