  1. t10029 is the metal Hazet one, got mine for about the same price a while back.
  2. Id say Koni coilovers, then save and get the arb's at a later date.
  3. Including buying the car probably about £15k.
  4. Im pretty sure your car will fail its mot if it has an adjustable brake bias valve, if its noticed.
  5. VW on crow road have been ok the few times ive used them. Theres also Donaldsons VW just off the roundabout on the clydeside expressway that are supposed to be ok. Bedrock VW is a specialist out in Motherwell, really know there stuff but ive found them a bit expensive. Personally I normally make the trip to Star, unless its a job I can manage myself.
  6. Whats the best way to pay for used parts from the US, is paypal ok or better to send a cheque by snail mail?

    Bye bye VW

I never noticed there was a classifieds on here before, I take it im too late for the charger? [ Edited Sat Nov 20 2004, 01:15PM ]
  8. Anyone looking for a big bore throttle body should contact: Alpina527@aol.com You can get an exchange one for about half what AMD charge, he has recomendations from a few members on the corrado forum, including myself.
  9. My vr is modified, but it only made 193bhp last week, underfuelling.
  10. I was all over an accord type r at knockhill yesterday, it wasnt that quick. Top speeds were about 105...
  11. I wonder if that would be the case were the belt to snap and you needed a new one?
  12. I considered H+R's, but there only height adjustable, the damping is set.
  13. Koni Coilovers from TSR £699. Nuespeed arb's are supposedly very good but certain bits on the rear bar need lubed regularly. (Rose joints maybe?) I got Eibachs as there maintenance free.
  14. Is there much difference in the performance between them? I know the vortech has a higher potential output but how is it just now?
  15. Cool, the chargers even been clocked to allow fitment of an intercooler.
  16. Theres been a bit of talk on the Corrado forum about organising a VW track day. We had 1 earlier in the year at Knockhill but this time were thinking Oulton or Cadwell park as then its more accessible for most of the UK. Could make it a joint day to get the numbers?
  17. I had a bit of a go against one of them a while back, was pretty even. He got away slightly midrange then I caught up in the top end and had to change gear early to stop going into the back of it. Before the schrick as well. Nice cars though, id imagine a chip would do wonders.
  18. Ive just had the camber on mine set to -1o42' and also got a very slight toe out. car feels fantastic now, highly recommended. The toe out makes the car extremely stable in a straight line, especially when on the power. It does increase tyre wear though. [ Edited Tue Sep 28 2004, 10:52PM ]
  19. I got a Corrado Club discount on the wheel alignement and it was a very basic service as I do a lot of the work on my car myself, I really just paid for an oil and filter change and a stamp. Plugs for the vr aint cheap, I never had them changed due to the extra labour cost with the schrick. Ill agree though, that price on engine mounts sounds a bit steep.
  20. Nice one, is that a V1 charger in there? Are you the same Anorak that owned a red charged Corrado VR6? If so how do they compare?
  21. Andrew, there pretty busy most of the time but ive always found them decent to deal with and the prices have been fair. Cant complain at a service (minus plugs) and wheel alignement for £135
  22. Sounds fair, took me 4 hours. Im sure Star Performance charge similar.
  23. bigvw wouldnt be B16 VVV would it? If so I seen your car at Star today, looks smart.
