  1. The corrado is a obd 1 car, so i think it will only fit a obd 1 golf.
  2. Could be a spark plug that has failed. I had a 40k plug fail at 15k a few years ago
  3. If diesel oil is full of 'cleaning things' why not use it in a petrol engine all the time if it is the right 'rating' for your engine. A diesel engine is under a lot more compression than a petrol so i would presume the oil can take more stick than its petrol counterpart.
  4. I like the continental sport contacts more than the toyo's plus they last longer as well
  5. Money well spent. Don't underestimate these cars they will become a classic.
  6. I have had my highline for the last 4 years, and about 1 year ago with 110k on the clock I felt it was time for a change. I bought a leon cupra which is a nice looking car and goes quite well and only had 29k on the clock. I had it apr tuned by awesome gti because I needed more power. Yes it was a fast car but very boring as well. The power delivery wasn't to my liking and I didn't like the drive by wire system. Plus the engine sounded like a hairdryer. Sold the car and bought a 2004 wrx impreza. What can I say, great car I will never forget 1st gear. The inside was well made but looked ch

  15. I have a coolant leak only when the car isn't running I.E i run the car for a good hour and when the engine is running there is no leak. I stop and within a hour or so there is a big leak coming from underneath the car to leave quite a puddle. This then stops and then can start again a few days later. The car is only run about once a month as i have a v6 4motion. When under the car there is no sign of a leak. HELP ME PLEASE. ?! &|

  18. am i guessing right by saying that the rollers work out the loss through transmission by timing how long it takes the car to slow down in neutral after the power run. If it does, thats where the difference could be coming from. For example if a good vw gearbox and driveshafts take 15 secs to slow down this may be a loss of 40 bhp. Now if your tracking was out or your tyres where a bit down on pressure this would increase friction on the rollers and say stop the rollers in 10 secs. Now the computer that is working out all the figures thinks that there is a bigger loss through the transmission
  19. i think you will find that most cars will be closer on the power at the wheels. I have a reason why some cars produced more power "at the flywheel" but it will take me to long to write.
  20. what power did you guys and girls get at the wheels at stealth. I got 153 bhp
