Panel filters - does anyone have one?

I changed my bmc for the standard air box and filter. All i can say is that it is for the better. I should have never payed -
Mine is the same, i keep saying that i will get that screen clear stuff from halfrauds. All you do is wipe it on the glass inside the car and it ment to stop it misting up.

Believe me. All the speedo's are calibrated to 280mph

Strange you should say kph because all the cars speedo's are in mph 0-125mph in 7.3 sec not bad for a 2 ton car oh and 0-62mph in 2.5

Mine did this, it turned out to be the bearings on the free pully(ie just a pully)a quick squirt with spray greese stopped the noise. A quick fix but it will need changing.

koni/eibach set up is very good this lowers the ride hight about 35mm. look for about 100-120 pounds fitted, this should include the laser alignment

If you are getting your 2.8 rebuilt the 2.9 is the natural repair size, just have your block rebored and buy some 2.9 pistons. An instant handy increase in bhp and a rebuilt engine as well.

The 4motion can't hit 60 in second gear as well. Not sure what the 2 cars are like to 100. Has anyone got the figures?

I am lucky to have both but i am selling the 4motion and keeping the vr6. The 4motion has so much better low down torque but seems to run out of puff at the top end. I think the vr6 is the faster car only if you keep it over 4k revs. Around town the 4motion is a fast car, but i put that down to the torque. Thats why i asked about the shrick.

.......a 4motion golf and a vr6 with a shrick inlet manifold? If yes, how do they compare? As you may or my not know the 4motion has a kind of shrick fitted as standard.

That is the plan to get it s/c, but i can't decide weather to get the engine rebuild first as it has 110k on the thing.
