  1. An indicator has to be visible from the side of the car I believe. So as stated it can be in the door mirror or even a wrap around one on the front corner. (Like on a Mk4/5 Polo for example).
  2. Looking very good. Look forward to seeing it at a show this year.
  3. Claire - thats fantastic news. Wish you the very best of luck. When is it?
  4. Fat Wheels are only in Sheerness and have a good rep.
  5. Yeah my other half's VR is the one Justin is referring to. I bought them hoping she would like them and they looked better than I could have hoped for. Sadly I don't think I've got any piccies of them on the car. However the quality of the srpay job on the lights is really good and the true colour of the lights does come through.
  6. Justin if you find out, let me know as its a question I have wondered myself for a while. I think I may have seen a can one the the sill off and it still has a strip fixed to the car? Will ekta tell you more?
  7. Mmmmm if only I had more than 50p to my name! :-)
  8. I think its been out for a while too. :-(
  9. There should also be some rubber grommets in the floor of the car, check the water is not getting in through these.
  10. Mine is lowered about 30 mm on standerd 15's. The nose catches a bit here and there. Have to take large speed bumps slowly.
  11. I think i measured mine before the suspension kit went on, I will try to find it tonight and let you know.
  12. www.cult-society.net If they still make them come the day I can actually afford a respray, these are the ones I intend to have fitted.
  13. Not as expensive as I thought. I take it the handbrake gaiter comes with it?
  14. Go onto eBay and find a cheap set of wheels and have the BBS's refurbed! :-) You can always resell the temporary set after or, my advice would be to keep them for winter use.
  15. Nice one Pete. Easy to navigate around the site which is a bonus compared to other ones I have been on. :-)

Tommy be careful. 2 of those cars have come to some serious grief. :-( I hope it does not turn in to the "Curse of the Black Highline meet".
  17. I hope the Mk2 sells sonn then Nick.
  18. Very nice indeed. So when is it going into your car then?
  19. Nice. They look very similar to the Kosei's on my other halfs VR. :-)
  20. Pleased you did not have to sell it Nick. Did you buy the Mk2 in the end, or did you change your mind in time?
  21. Car is looking very nice Rich. Personally I quite like the light brows.
  22. So basically, you are looking at a new clutch. Bit of a pig job as the gearbox is a bit awkard to get out. Maybe try asking Tandino if he knows anywhere reliable, as he is down your way I believe.
  23. There was that "plug and play" wiring kit featured in PVW a couple of months or so ago, that was supposed to make things a lot easier and cheaper.
