    MY mother-in-law had an Escort Cosworth Lux in red from new. She finally sold it with 15,000 miles a few years ago, as she got fed up with the unwanted attention, ie thieves !sad It was a lovely car! Jon 8)

    Do the MK4 have the red at the top and clear puddle lights on the bottom half? I would say its more of a light than a reflector on the Highline (picture of my interior below).     Mine lately is driven every week and a half / fortnight. But that is why I've had it four years, not bored of it yet! Got a Freelander too for the family car, as just sold the MR2. I work so close (1.5 mile round trip), I walk/bike it and my company actually pay me to leave the car at home (Leave your car at home scheme). Jon 8)

    I'm glad your enjoying it. It was similar to me 4 years ago. I had never driven one until I bought it. Until driving it home conservatively and then later on seeing what its all about, boy it was quick! Jon 8)

    Just re-insured with Elephant for £320, fully comp with my wife as a second driver. 10 years NCB helps I think! !lol Jon 8)

    Saled through its MOT today. I just had to put in orange bulbs in side repeaters there and then, as I had clear bulbs flashing. Had only done 4,000 miles since its last MOT and now on 64,400. Be even less mileage between todays MOT and next MOT as used as a second car. MOT Inspector even commented what a nice car it is, as he gave me the passing Certificate.     Before I start ringing around... I'm needing to send a set of alloy wheels. I'd preferred it if the person could picked them up but it is a long drive. Gatwick to Plymouth. I've also got someone interested in Manchester too, so Gatwick to Manchester. Any ideas on the best courier company to use to courier a set (4) of alloys??? Do they also package them if requested to? Also, how much should I looking at paying roughly? Thanks in advance! Jon 8)

    Elephant have just sent my renewal sent through with all modifications. Fully comp, wife as 2nd driver etc... £340.75 for my Highline. That is with the original valuation of £8,000 from 4 years ago when I bought it. I reckon I can beat that if I ring up Elephant up and say that the valuation is now less... For that sort of price, it does not seem worth ringing around. May still try HIC, Greenlight, Adrian Flux though to see what they can do. I've got a few weeks to do this in. Not bad at all! Jon 8)

    44,900 when I bought it 4 years ago. Now on 64,300. Should now stay low as used as a second car, so only used once in a blue moon! Jon 8)

    Well' date=' we have just sold this just before Xmas. Before the Golf Cabriolet, had 2 Escort XR3i Cabriolets with RS kit etc, so like to be topless!
