  1. Hi Baz, Looking good Mate. I also sold my Highline recently. Cheers Jon
  2. They sure were! The side repeaters are also the same as VW/Seat.
  3. Oh that is scarey when the lorry hits it.
  4. JK, looks like it must have been your bad luck then! Zorro is happy.
  5. OK JK, I did say... ''I was going to get a set for mine when I had it, but never got round to it''. I did not know the quality was pants. Oh well! Jon
  6. You want to get the silver ones off ebay. There only about a fiver. There are 2 types, one with pins and ones without. Can't remember what the model number is, but it'll be easy to find on ebay, as the seller usually says which is the correct type. I was going to get a set for mine when I had it, but never got round to it. Jon
  7. Yeah I remember that, combined with loads of Lego road. I've got an 8 month old baby boy, so I'll have an excuse to do it all again soon. Just got to get all my old cars out of my Mum's loft. Got some 'old skool' ones up there! Jon
  8. Guess you'll be busy painting the rest of your fence this weekend?
  9. Looking good. Will you be removing the towbar? I had a towbar on my first car. Someone drove into the back of it in a cherished camper van. No damage to mine, apart from a cracked reflector and his was stoved in.
  10. I see you found the Volksfest photos!
  11. Hi, Sold the Highline today after owning it 4.5 years. Gibs20 (Tom) is now the proud owner. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I have done! Thanks for everybody's help over the last 3 years (nearly) of being a member on here. I will still be on here from time to time! Cheers Jon
  12. Due to this ad being posted, I have now sold my Highline to Tom today, who posted this ad! Good luck with it Tom! Cheers Jon
  13. I could have sworn Antera309's (other Nick) original Golf was silver, as I rememeber you 2 commenting about having the same colur, same alloys and same name. Mine was gunmetal grey, but it was otherwise pretty much identical to Nick B's, including the Antera 309 alloys Oh, not far off then! Jon
  14. Hi Nick, Yeah I remember you. I joined at the same time as you back in the early days - Dec'03. Didn't you have a silver 5 door Golf like Antera309's? Funnily, I've had my Highline 4.5 years now and its going to the new owner this week. But I will be getting another Veedub to along with the Freelander that I also have. So yeah, hi and goodbye! Jon
  15. Nice Highline, especially in mulberry That cabriolet is the same one I saw near my house not that long ago (spoke to the owner on E38 - guess it was you, but you've different username on E38, Greg?), but had the same wheels as my Highline at the time. Jon
  16. Yeah a guy at my work has one. BRM in british racing green with red leather interior on a 'V' reg. The grille looks very strange in orange, in contrast to the green. Jon
  17. 65,000 on a P reg mulberry Highline.
  18. Looking good Jim. You said at Volksfest that you'll do them BBS like that. BTW, went to a London show via Lastminute.com. My Mrs was well happy. Nice one. Jon
  19. Hi Tom, By reading your post, you may have prompted me to sell my car. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. If you see my post reply in 'How long have you had you VR?' (or as bottom of this post), you can see a bit of detail about it. Anyway, I have not really been using as much as I'd like to and sadly I have been thinking of selling it, as we have a Freelander as an everyday family car. I would return it pretty much to standard (including the Highline BBS Solitude wheels), as I still have all the bits including the wooden gearknob. The only thing that would not be standard would
