  1. I think German and Swedish sell them cheaper than that.
  2. Sounds like you've just volunteered to sort the Sept one then Tommy! ..... lol
  3. Ok peeps, I know that this is going against the poll and most of your requests for September, but It's going to have to be August 22nd for myself and Six appeal, due to other comitments now. Please feel free to continue to arrange a day up there in September if you really can't make the August date, but it would be good to see you all there. Next thing to sort will be a convoy up there, last meeting point would be the M1 services as per the GTI festival. Vince
  4. Good point Minty, might want to keep that one quiet then! Bit of a grey area I recon.
  5. As another comparison, mine got 208bhp and 210flbs at AMD after a remap on an obd2 engine with a ram air, supersprint cat back and schrick manifold.
  6. Sorry to say, August is looking favourable at the mo.
  7. If you get them, have fun with the arch mods......
  8. Excellent, glad to see some interest. I'll let this run for a while and then firm up the chosen date. The only thing for me is, the 19th sept is the day after my birthday. I think I might possibly be worse for wear.....
  9. As a result of not running my car at the GTI festival, and Six appeal not being able to attend, we have decided to arrange another trip to the Pod. Proposed dates are; Sun 22 Aug "RWYB" Run What Ya Brung - Public Track Day or Sun 19 Sept "RWYB" Run What Ya Brung - Public Track Day Would any of you guys girls be interested in joining us? We'll put the dates to the vote. Vince & Simon
  10. Some impressive times there chaps.
  11. No worries mate. Hope it doesn't have to much impact on the wallet.
  12. oooppps, double post %-6 [ Edited Tue Jul 13 2004, 06:13PM ]
  13. Unfortunately, if you want to be correctly covered, you have to declare all mods including the Schrick.
  14. Nice pics Justin! I recon you'd get away with adding them to your Essex black highline pics lol....
  15. Mark, as much as we all love our cars I know what I'd be doing..... See you when you get back mate.
  16. I did mine without removing anything, just get an M8 bolt and wind it in until the tension comes off the belt. If yours is fouling on something maybe you need a longer bolt so the head of it that you turn is well clear of anything. I ended up using a bolt with a large flat bladed screw head.
  17. If you could be bothered to do that you'd be wasting your time as running the aircon sucks power from the engine anyway!
  18. Fingers crossed Pete its all ok.
  19. only prob with that is, I think most peeps will be Pissed up! Lol
  20. Junior hacksaw blades that is, and remove the little knotch at one end!
  21. I've cleaned mine before by using a garden type water sprayer/mister filled with isopropanol. Remove it from the car and then spray the fine wire thats inside to remove deposits. You wanna make sure its nice and dry before using it again though. Doesn't take long as it evaporates pretty quick.
  22. I've been told that if you get the leather damp then carefully heat it up with a hair dryer you can remove small creases. Never tried it tho!
