  1. Always a top service from Elite. The Mk3's non adjustable. No adjustment on the trailing arms at all
  2. Not sure on spacer width, best bet, contact FK.
  3. Debadged, looks smoother than origianl.
  4. I made my own CAI during the summer using S/S 80mm tubing. Definately a big improvement as the filter sat right down inside the inner wing. I should think that this would perform exceptionally well.
  5. Yep, i was quoted £420, rims only and they were 17x7.5
  6. Off the line, i doubt you'd get away tbh, but once rolling you should be able to keep up. But, once it's chipped, you won't stand a chance.
  7. You can get a 205/40 over an 8" rim, bit of a squeeze, but it can be done. Try and sort yourself some hubcentric spacers if you can.....they're not cheap, about £100 for a pair, but much, much safer in the long run. Oh, and depending on how thick the spacer is, then it's also a good idea to get slightly longer wheel bolts No probs, hope you get it sorted.
  8. As Tommy said, the symptoms are as explained. I know, my Ibiza 1.8T ate 3 MAF's! BIG TIP: Don not over oil your airfilters....this is the biggest killer. Jay - The MAF is located in between the throttle body and the air box/induction kit. It's the plastic housing in bettween these two points. The actual element is inside the casing.
  9. 13mpg......now that's good going i thought, considering the spec
  10. Harsh......these companies really need to get their arses in gear sometimes.... Hopefully all will come good Clive.
  11. I think FK do hubcentric spacers. You could try Demon Tweeks etc. For the plastic hub locators on your rims....try and contact the manufacturer, but if you don't get any joy try Demon Tweeks again. I managed to get some for a previous car from my local modified/car parts place. Hope this helps.
  12. 8" rims are doable....depending on your tyre choice. Ideally you've got to go for a 205/40/17 otherwise you'll have problems with rubbing and the rims catching the arches. Have the arches on your car been rolled at all? Could be that your rims are slightly the wrong offset, but if you've got no problems since running spacers then i wouldn't worry. Are you using hubcentric spacers, ie spacers that slot over the hub for extra stability?? These are a must if your using spacers.....not the usual halfords jobbies...heard some horror stories about them, and rims coming off!
  13. I don't drive mine that hard.....i'm lucky if i see 23mpg.
  14. Looked extremely cool on Top Gear last night
