I spoke to Vince @ Stealth racing last week about Starter Motors, and recommened getting the Golf V5 starter motor as its more powerful, and turns the engine over quicker.... give him a call. its about the same price as the standard VR6's one...
Dash command is pretty good too. Does race track logging of braking / accelerating using the gyroscope / accelerometers and GPS as well as diagnostics etc...
not sure if I have been sent the wrong sized pads? new brake setup has arrived today. ordered some pads for what was advertised for the later golf VR6 model... here is the pad on the disc... I had a sheered bolt in my engine mount on the corrado, if you cannot get a blob of weld on the bolt to try extend the bolt to unscrew it / drill it out.. I had to send mine off to an engineering place so they could remove the bolt for me using special tools...
my mk2 mate... 218BHP with low comp 2.9 Wossner pistons, stock cams, BVH, Schrick, BMC CDA, remap. 6 branch - decat, and I had a quaiffe LSD and G60 final drive in there for good measure...
