With your 16.88 1/4 does that mean you are in that special "bus club"?

nope! 8o|

to gain access to "buses with attitude" you have to run a sub 18sec when there are BWA members present!

when i raced at the pod my engine was not long built so could only rev it up to 3500rpm' date=' i managed a 18.68secs.

i ran the 16.88secs up here in scotland so no members were here, it was at crail where traction off the line is gash.

at the pod i should be running faster as traction is superb off the line.

i sent in my printed times but they didn't accept them.............

i also sent in a poor video again they didn't accept it!!!!!!

here is my evidence!!!!!! :-| ha ha ha

Looks so much better when one uniform colour. Will you be wet or dry flatting that prior to top coat?

cheers dude................

tbh i'll be doing what i'm told from my mate in the bodyshop!!!!! lol

i'm not overly fussed on the inside finish as it will be hidden with cupboards, curtains etc...................

although my mate keeps telling me "if a jobs worth doing, its worth doing right" (h)

Are you going to be treating the reverse of the welded area's? Always waiting for the updates...

Cheers fella..........

Before we weld any metal we paint the reverse with etch primer as a temporary measure. Once the bus is painted, waxoil will be injected or sprayed into the areas where no paint has reached! You must do this or the fresh welds will just start rusting from the inside out!

well i'm going to come clean...................

i wanted to do most of the work myself but with the new baby time has been spent with the family, so i got the chance of the boys putting in a few shifts to push my bus on!!!!!

its now costing ££££'s but the progress is quick and the work is first class!!!!!!

first job was to prep the roof then paint it, super smooth. lol..............

next on the hitlist was to finish any small body repairs then give it a paint with polyester where required..............

DSC06700.jpg

DSC06701.jpg

DSC06703.jpg

DSC06704.jpg

the polyester is quite thick so will be blocked down to create a super flat finish...............i hope!!!!!

since the sun was shinning the boys rolled my bus outside to do some work.............

DSC06705.jpg

DSC06706.jpg

DSC06707.jpg
