  1. If it was a bbc race I would, have before. Dont have sky though.
  2. It looks so close, and I thought last season was close. My favourite driver in the pack would be Jenson, I would like to see him to well again but not sure that Mclaren will have consistent pace. Safe money has to be on Vettel as Redbull have Newey as there designer and he will get as close to braking the rules as he can and when they do they seem to have a way of getting around it with out real punishment. I think Hamilton will do well at Mercedes, they are spending so much on making it work, I would not be surprised though if it doesnt work to see him leave and go back to Mclaren. As much
  3. Don't worry I will be trying to get the best I can, the guy I was speaking to at the insurance company agreed it was rare. My expectation is already low so I can only be impressed, the way I have come to terms with it. Blimey, the passenger doors are going to be expensive with this much interest in them lol
  4. Thanks guys. Project wise I like the idea of a mk2 Jetta VR6. Failing that we have a mk3 GL that may be another donor car and I will get another family car. It all depends on the insurance payout really. I will look back here when it comes to breaking an see who has first dibs
  5. Bad start to the day yesterday, lost the back of the vento on black ice. I was following in a line of traffic, travelling at around 15 - 20 mph, I had already noticed the car infront twitch so I eased off and started to coast, when I got to the same point the back vered towards the passenger side of the road, tried to steer into the slide but it done nothing. I ended up 180 degrees across the road some how missing all the surroundings and slowly gliding to a halt. The van travelling behind me managed to stop. The transit coming the other way however had a bit more speed behing him and I co
  6. I had the same problem just before christmas, we had checked all the other possibilities and when the head was off it confirmed there was a small leak. Back together now and all good.
  7. We have a T5, caddy and transit at work, the caddy is a good little van, just like driving a car but limited space, the T5 is great as its quick compared to the tranist and so much more comfy to ride in, not quite as much room though. They are expensive to buy. With me driving around last week in the T5 I filled it up with £120 of diesel and got just over 500 miles out of that, don't know if that's good or bad? I used to have a T4 transporter and loved that, had done over 200k when I sold it and was still going strong! Just my thoughts
  8. I'm exactly the same, could not afford an induction kit, so had the air box neatly drilled and sounds the nuts, and cost £0 which is a real winner!
  9. Some how missed this until this eve. Gutted! I watch all the qualifying and races live, no matter what time of day. I can't afford to go to the track to watch so its the next best thing. Not happy...
  10. Yes, i went, parked in the paddock though, didnt really know where or who any of you was. The meet was really good though, thoroughly enjoyed it. Ditto that comment! Had a great eve! Well organised! Will uplaod a few pics for you.
  11. I'm going to this with the hazzard club in my bug, my wife may be bringing the Vento though.
  12. Yep, same I use Chrome, would not let me on to start with, now Norton is having and strop with warnings every few seconds saying "exploit kit variant 3".
  13. Nr Tovil Mill, lol, ventos are like buses, you don;t see one for ages and then they all come along at the same time.
