Just thinking, when your parked and set up, theres not really much to do in the way of getting out to go to the local....so frozen or meaty stuff just like springfest.Chris, you taking any cooking stuff? I'll throw some money your way.There is a Tesco literally just around the corner from Newnham Park and also the Lord Louis Pub which does a cracking cheap carvery if you want to venture off site. Or there is a massive Sainsburys about a 3 minute drive just down the road if you need to stock up on anything, Both Gary and I are local so if need be can always show you where to go etc... The Monk 50 Posted May 16, 2009 Report Share Posted May 16, 2009 I'm still waiting on my MK1 to sell to get the money for this, I'm afraid. It's on bay with 24 watchers atm but no bids. Another chap from south london has been in contact with me for a while about it, but It seems it's cutting it close as to when I'll get the money....either before or after this weekend......so I may or may not make it.There is no ability to borrow for this event too, after I borrowed for the pod. I paid it back, but I'm going to need around 400 to be safe and thats too much.Fingers crossed the car goes through before friday.I'll keep you updated. Link to post Share on other sites

I can't see any services near or around there though. J11 going toward churchwood though, theres an island and the A40...going down the A40 toward barnwood, there appears to be several either industrial sites or shopping areas with very large numerous car parks.
