If you can read you can use Vag Com and tbh its up to you if you want to spend ££££ buying it. It is certainly a very useful tool and has saved me a lot of money not visiting VW.

If its a 4 motion the drop links wont need to be changed unless you have something like FK coilovers who provide shorter drop links with their coilover kits. However 4motion vehicles do chew through the droplinks like no tomorrow mine has gone through two sets so far and when I had FK coilovers wen through a set of them as well and they are £72 to replace or £30ish for the VW ones

I couldn't go in the end R32 still in bits on axle stands lol god dam anti roll bar links knocking like mad. Still parts finally come today all ready for the next show should be sporting a nice OEM+ ICE install then as well which I'm part way through making

Well they couldn't get in my boot I guess thats where the other 4 points were lol! I got them from SWDUBS If they'd got in your boot you may have lost points as it was full of stuff. Perhaps they knocked you down 4 points for that oil filler cap ;-) Bloody good score tho and thoroughly justified ;-) LOL the oil cap is going I wouldn't worry just waiting for the new one to arrive from the USA. :$
