  1. I run osram night breakers can't fault them for the price. Been hearing good reports about the new phillips bulbs too. Can't comment as I haven't used them though.
  2. One of the best mk3's ever! Can't wait for AWD and more boost.
  3. They will do the job but probably not last too long. Have a look at flow flex. Or the r32/tt bushes are also on ebay. Go for the lemforder ones.
  4. Or have a look at flow flex polyurethane bushes good quality for cheaps. And steer clear of the cheapest balljoints they are crap quality.
  5. Heat and hammers don't work with kw's unfortunately. Mine were 6months old when I bought them and had been fitted with no copper slip. New adjuster rings can be bought from kw for £15 each.
  6. Have to remember with stretch on 15's you will have to run silly low. In my opinion if done wrong looks crap. Wide wheels need stretch to fit, stretch for the sake of it is pointless, maybe I just like to drive my car too much. I ran et23 on 16 x 6.5 just caught the standard arch trims with 195/45. You could probably run 20mm and 25mm adapters with no problems depending how low and/or flush you want the wheels to sit.
  7. Nice plans dude. Be nice to see it come together.
  8. Really tidy turbo install, mk1 is fully awesome! You should merge the two.
  9. Possibly a faulty isv. The idle can be adjusted using the butterfly stop on the throttle body.
  10. 17mm deep socket and a breaker bar. Definitely not 22mm.
  11. Definitely tracking, I ruined a pair of 914's in under 1k. The car drives completely different now. But always check for play in all points of movement before getting it done, no point taking it all apart after having it aligned.
  12. Had 914's on through the summer and was very impressed with them. Ran continentals on my leon cupra(sport contact 5) and polo 6n (sc2 and 3) and the only fault is they are quite a soft compound so wear quick. But the grip was always there, great tyres and will be fitting a set to my vr next summer.
  13. How about a trip to svag14? In its third year now and some more clubs would only make it better.
  14. Can't believe you both missed a hammer off your lists. Best tool ever!
  15. Yellow stuff is probably cavity wax. Sounds like the captive nut has broken loose. Bit of a bitch of a job, but any competent garage should be able to sort you out.
  16. Looks bad, but how come the legs of the ramp under the mk3 ain't burnt. And the one next to the raddo's looks fine too.
  17. I think the powerflex stuff is very overpriced. Have a search for flow-flex, small welsh company. They offer most bushes for the mk3 at a much more reasonable price. I think they are a softer polyurethane, were easier to fit and not as harsh. Not bought top mounts yet would like to hear some feedback though.
  18. Looking good auld yin. Thinking about paint and powdercoat, what about the noise that you've barely heard?
  19. Try messaging this guy. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200975978318
  20. That's some size of a leaf on that red raddo! Have to ask, Why is a golf R in the picture? Looks good though maybe make the trip next year.
  21. Do they fit on the front without spacers? If so take them off or reduce to 10mm and run 15mm at the back. Should still be plenty room. Failing that get your arches rolled.
