  1. I apologize for the delay in posting any updates; unfortunately, I don't have an update to offer. I am still waiting for the the Aluminum T-Stat housing and cover from Eurowise. I intend on making some, rather, large purchases in a few months (Schrick 263 cams, TT high flow valves w/ HD Springs & titanium retainers, Lugtronic Stand alone engine mangement system, and more). Once I realized this wasn't going to be done this summer, decided to make another investment, or two. My soon to be Daily & My new Carry Pistol (not car related but a major hobby of mine) I promise to post
  2. Big shout out to Eurowise on this one! Just ordered the new Cast Aluminum Thermostat Housing and Sensor cover from Eurowise! I will post actual photos of everything when it arrives but for now, this will give you an idea: Should be here by the 24th!
  3. Have you tried shifting at different speeds, from first into second gear?
  4. I responded to your questions in bold, see below: Here is a video of my friends mk1 Supercharged Vr6 http://youtu.be/-RZiqA2FpUA?t=1m45s
  5. Thanks Redborbet! Went to take some more shots of the block and get some work done. I will be removing the intermediate shaft after I get the tool to remove the freeze plugs. Also take some pics to compare the Eurowise lower Intake manifold. As always, best part is below: I still need to strip the head; none the less, I took photos anyway. You can clearly see the difference with the port job from the Eurowise lower intake manifold; Now I just need to polish up the runners! That is all for now; till next time...
  6. Next bits on order are the Cast Iron T-Stat housing and T-Stat sensor cover (also from Eurowise). I am currently debating on the Lugtronic engine managment system as well. As always, till next time!
  7. Today was a good day, I was un-officially told that I am being promoted at the end of the month; aside from that, I came home to nice surprise. As always, the part everyone waits for: First, I finally got off my lazy butt and took some shots of the wiring harness and ecu. It isn't anything special, still felt the need to post. Ok, onto the good stuff Well packaged! Closer look A little comparison between the tapped oil pan that came with the supercharger kit vs. the Eurowise pan.
  8. And what is helping me put all this stuff together??? I have another Haynes book around here, somewhere, just have to find it. Once the Eurowise package comes in I will post pics of what's inside. I still have some work to do but she is just about ready to take a dive in the hot tank! More to come. Joe.
  9. Here are some pics of the Qauife w/ ARP Bolt kit and the latest on my 2.9 Upper Intake manifold
  10. Hello everyone, I apologize for the delayed update; however, there were a few issues that kept me away from the forums. I am still awaiting the arrival of parts from Eurowise, but I finally got my Qauife ATB Limited Slip Differential and ARP Differential Bolt kit. I was also able to tear down the motor for inspection and get it read for the rebuild! Ok, on to the part everyone is waiting for... Pictures! Someone's Joke of a secondary air pump delete
  11. I am going to have to agree with lukey on this one, I wouldn’t want her on the bonnet either lol. On another note, I was able to pull the wiring harness and OBD2 connector a few days ago; I figured I would add some photos for an update. Took some time, but I was able to identify what harness I was actually pulling through the firewall. I had one of my friends tug on the wires while I rested, very uncomfortably, under the dashboard. Slowly, I moved all of the unnecessary wires/connectors out of the way; only to find that there was no way I was going to be able to pull them out all at once..
  12. Forgot to take pics of the ecu, but here are some shots from the fuse block (which was a pain in the rear to pull out!). It would be a lie if I said "I didn't brake any tabs" while removing it. I had to walk away a few times to avoid yanking it all out due to the frustration.. Also seperated the tranny from the block, pressure plate and flywheel had some hot spots. And yes, I realize that the oil pan is on the floor; I have no intention on using it and have a spare in the event I actually needed it. I will post more pics after I receive some parts that I have o
  13. I have always Used ATF Fluide to unfreeze motors. Fill up each cylinder and let it sit, assuming the Coke didn't already get the Job done.
  14. Pulled the motor and trans yesterday; going to pull the fuse block and wiring harness later today. More updates to come, Enjoy.
