  1. There is a blue vr6 on Emmerdale apparently, I missed out on by a few hours. Was gutted at the time.
  2. Manual here too. Auto boxes are old now, nothing like new fangled technology.

All you have listed there are good, I have used them all apart from the vredsteins, but they get alright reviews too. I like continental's they are a soft compound but grip in all conditions.
  4. "If you will have it you will love it" That statement says to me its a trader without a clue. Tempted to phone.
  5. 1st line of the advert tells me its not 300 ponies.
  6. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/volkswagen-golf-29-300-bhp-vr6-highline-5dr-mottax/1046146103 Some people...
  7. Maf is before the filter, red pipe looks like the isv. Has loads of potential looks nice and clean.
  8. Relay is gone. Shouldn't tick, could be other problems as well though, wiring or failed heat element.
  9. I thought it was a captive nut, welded to the axle? But I do recall a spring clip type device now you say that.
  10. Yeah I understand more time to set up etc. Not too bothered about a knotchy feel I like that. Still unsure if just to fit a mk4 shifter.
  11. Just cut the side closest to the axle then pull the bolt out. Then the fun begins.
  12. Cool: Volkswagen vr6 uncool: Kia vr7
  13. That's going to be some stress. You will have to cut the metal sleeve in the bush and the bolt.
  14. Heat the nut from inside the Axle. Should break away.
  15. What's the chance of a greater reduction in throw?
  16. Seems some of the guys ain't keen these days. Usually if you go in they will serve you but not always.
  17. Have to line up the slots in the cams and see the mark in the intermediate sprocket. So no....not that I know of.
  18. That's what I use on mine, had to trim the rubber slightly so they fitted into the holes easier.
  19. You will want high tensile bolts, unsure if they are a standard pitch though. Have a look at aluminium on ebay its pretty cheap.
  20. Its not an adapter its just a spacer. Just measure hole centres and drill. So 312mm carriers bolt to a 280mm hub?
  21. My understanding it is a spacer between the caliper carrier and the hub, could be made with 6mm flat bar. Then longer bolts. Do the carriers bolt up to a 280mm setup too? Mines an early car.
  22. Bought the red one for petrol. Got it in tesco for £4. Unsure if its in my head but the car is more responsive throughout the rev range now.
