Also treated it new brakes gone for some ferodo ds2500 pads up front see what there like, service and a few other bits and pieces it needed.
  2. small update with this it's bent another clutch fork by the look of things, when the release bearing went last time it also did this. Seriously considering putting an 02m box on it soon.
  3. First slight issue with it, the clutch release bearing has failed. I thought there was a noise but i couldn't work out where it was coming from, guess I know now. Took the box off today going to put a new helix paddle clutch in it, there's not a lot left on the current on and also do a few other little jobs while it's all apart.
  4. I"m in preston, so I'm game for a manchester/north west meet
  5. Cheers folks It could be I'm not really sure. At some point I'll get it on a rolling road and what it's doing.
  6. Nice one thanks a lot for that. I paid £5500 for it, which I thought was a good price. The rest of the car is mint no rust anywhere.
  7. Yeah that's the one I bought it off the guy from Essex, the car hasn't changed it's still the same spec. Do you know the full spec of the engine and what's been done to it? I didn't get a great deal of info when I got it.
  8. This is my vrt had it about 6 weeks so far the only thing I've is have a new exhaust fitted because it was way too loud. Brief spec is: Woosner forged pistons Shot peened rods Pelequin diff Gt35r turbo 450cc injectors H&R coilovers G60 brakes Bbs replica wheels It's running united motorsport software with an apexi avcr boost controller set at a max of 1.4 bar and 1.25 for daily driving. After winter main plan is some new wheels to be able to fit bigger brakes Here's a couple of my mk1 too it's just a bog standard 1.1 with 16" rs' and coilovers
