    I've got that '17978 - Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer & 01177 - Engine Control Unit - 65 - 10 Unauthorised - Intermittent ' showing up on mine after a vagcom scan too. Mine starts fine though?

    Only just seen this was on. I'm over from Northern Ireland visiting family and was at the Mercedes Benz museum today. One day late - doh! lol

    Update time - got a decat fitted to get rid of the blowing out exhaust I had on. Also finally got round to fitting the proper rims. Had to play about with the coilovers to get the car to a drivable level. Will hopefully get round to putting decent coils in over the winter and should be able to lower it a tad more. Anyway, this is how it sits at the minute:

    Time for a small update. Modifications since last update are as follows: - Put the standard wheels back on (proper wheels to come very soon) - Few more hours of cleaning gone in - Coilovers Other than that, I've just been enjoying driving it Have 2 or 3 more updates to come this week. Will get pics up when completed

    Cheers dude. Yeah I'm pretty happy with the change. It's still a few different shades of chilli red on different panels lol. But the next few changes should see it sitting better

    Thanks mate! They seem quite rare. There's one guy over here in Belfast that I know of that has one. Other than that' date=' I've not seen another one Thanks bud! Yeah I actually like them. If they were 16's, I'd love them I'm not sure? But it's the same depth all around. The one I removed was higher up at the sides (if that makes sense) Ha! Good point :-| Its N59 VCF. Picked it up in Reading' date=' but it's now over in Belfast Just what I assume are standard VR6 headlights. The mk4 ones were siliconed up and were impossible to set lol

    Hello there, just joined. Thought I'd stick a few pics up of my golf. Be interesting to see if anybody recognizes it. How it was when I first got it. A bit dull, had mk4 style headlights in it and was sporting a not so good splitter Put in some decent lights and fitted a VR splitter Borrowed a set of speedlines for MOT Gave it its first proper wash and wax at the weekend As for future plans, they would be as follows (in no particular order) - Tidy up the small dents and dings it has. - Lower it a bit more - so am looking a set of coils. - Fix the headliner as it's hanging down at the f
