  1. Shop around, it varies there ain't no cheapest place, once place may be cheaper on oil filter but somewhere else will do a cheaper fuel filter. If your a full member of vr6oc, check out the members benifits page and you will be able to save some cash. Beware of buying cheap though as you get what you pay for, especially oil, put in the best you can afford Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Can't wAit to see your progress, looks mega Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That's great info cheers, Deffo sounds like it's worth spending the extra money as I'd have probably gone the same sort of route and tried a cheaper flaring kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. What a motor!! Hat off to you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. With my mrs wishing I was either at work or doing jobs I need to be doing on the car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Only the abs light, that's good to here, thought it's more than likely a sensor issue, last time I changed them it solved it for a while. Was typical my light hadn't come on for ages to then decided to come on when I was getting it mot'd lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I'd be keen on knowing the price too, hoping new sensors will sort out my light though but would be good to known a price if not Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I wouldn't bother asking mine, we was at car show once, she nosed inside my mates BMW through his window like she knew what she was looking for and asked him if he's still got his welded diff, says it all really lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Haha I haven't shown my mrs neither, really don't think she would see the funny side cos it's true... Actually maybe it would do me a favour, more money for car parts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Had loads on my old phone grr here's a few on this one And I posted this one earlier but here we go again.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Saw the title of the thread and was going to post that pic lol. That's my exact face lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. My mrs came back from work with a posh bottle of wine, had that to myself and ended going for a 2am mission to get some chips lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Looking forward to seeing it with a fresh coat, I'm sure it will help get some well earned satisfaction from her as you will be able to see the project coming along noticeably. Are you sticking with green? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. And you and all the club Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I've searched for that round here before lol. My mrs has gone to work with her house keys and my keys for her house are on my car keys at my house so if I go out to grab some drinks I'll be locked out grr Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. very hardcore! I can't even go out to grab any drink though grr and I like a drop of talisker myself lukey, shame mines at my house Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. My tipple for the night Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Just read this build, I feel for you man, but carry on with it, I know they can feel like a never ending fix but you will get there, your doing everything properly so you will get there. I know exactly how you feel with wanting to crack on with the modding though, when ever I have a spare bit of cash to treat the car something boring pops up. You will get there, you've made great progress already and would be a shame to put all the effort in not to see it through... Keep at it!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Night in on my own at the minute, just treated myself to a curry. Rather spend my money on my vr than go out and spend a stupid amount on drinks I could get cheaper from the shop, pay someone a rediculous amount to drive me home and spend tomorrow feeling like crap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Personally I don't think you can go wrong with rainsports, brilliant in the wet and a fair price too, plus they are made by conti so you can't go wrong in my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Mine failed all those lines too. Which flaring tool did you buy and did you get all your flares right first time as a mate of mine said he tried making his own but his flares weren't spot on so he got his father in law to do it. Also did you find the job easy enough to do? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I usually give them a quick spray with wd40 and if needed a bit of persuasion with a hammer and a punch or something similar. Have used white lithium grease before to good effect, only problem is all the dust, grit etc likes to stick to it afterwards Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. They were 205 50 15s and they weren't anywhere near as grippy as the uniroyals, especially in the wet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I always run uniroyals on mine, can't fault them, not tried many others as once I find something I like I won't change incase I fork out for something I don't like them so much. Apart from that I had a pair of mitchelins on my last vr6 and wouldn't ever use them again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
