    Just fired up my vr, she has been sat on my drive since dec while I've done a few jobs on her, managed to fire her up a couple of times but not weekly like I should have done. Past couple of times I've noticed that it sounds a bit rough coming out of the exhaust after running for a minute or so and seems to bounce the car slightly. The revs are pretty consistent while it's doing this. I know I had a slight blow in the exhaust at the cat and now it seems to be worse so I'm wondering if it could be related to that.     They look nicer in the pic than up close, mine could do with a refurb really but I should be changing them soon. I like a vw badge too, but think it looks a bit meaner and smoother with the debadged grill, think I need to get a badged grill cos I keep changing my mind which I prefer lol.     Looking good, out of interest how long does everyone find this bit stays clean? When I clean mine i find a couple of weeks later it's dusty again, can't work out why though cos I rarely open my rear doors and they are pretty confined so should id have thougt they should stay looking clean as a whistle for ages lol , maybe cos mines black and it shows up more?     You don't need to disconnect the alarm/imobiliser, I think if the car is open or locked as it was when you disconnected then the alarm shouldn't go off, I usually have it locked when I disconnect for no particular reason, i left one of the doors open when I reconnected the battery, that's why the alarm went off so I just disconnected, locked the door and that was fine but then the fob/immobiliser wasnt synced so disconnecting, leaving it for a few minutes with the key in the door and reconnecting sorted that problem Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
