    As above opinions on best turbo for my 4mo, want around 350bhp but torquey mainly, ideally I don't wAnt an external waste gate want it pretty much factory look [emoji6]

    Could be but check for air leaks there's one that runs round the back that's give lambda faults as its running lean, the heater part of the lambda heats it to close the loop on the ecu quicker to get the best from the engine quicker

    As above I have a set of nearly new (less than 100 miles) INA oe quality tappets were fitted then engine was stripped out £30 plus delivery Ono Thanks Matt

    My mk3 never had any rust or any tin worm issues was a 98 R plate a lot of u guys have rust issues it seems

    U'll get a lambda fault with a misfire unburnt fuel open loop circuit etc, change all the coils and check plugs would be my first port of call pal

    Thinking of putting a r32 lump in my 4mo so can get more power n/a anyone done it ie straight swap? Or can I use parts from a 32 to make mine as good any insight appreciated chaps

    Yea r tech are near me I rang them when I had a 20vt but found who I spoke to unhelpful and an cba attitude which put me off jbs r about the same distance away plus every review says the guys r helpful, I'm planning on having the restrictive cantre piece of exhaust removed and panel filter I always run it on v power or momentum 99

    Vr6s are quick people who say there "slow" have never driven then most likely,I beat type Rs in my old one no prob and could keep with my mates e46 m3 till top end in 3rd it's all about the driver and how to drive then but slow they are not [emoji106]

    As above I like the sound of this remap for my 2003 v6 4mo Does anyone know much about the vvt on 24vs? Heard they just use it on start up for emissions?

    Yea just had mine done in my 4motion, I work for a gearbox specialist, had a very slight whine always turns out to be the end bearing on all Vag 6sp boxes, 02M boxes, make sure the oil level is ok or change it give that a try first

    End bearing is a common failure, defo sure its gearbox not timing chains?

    Smf make a horrible noise aswell!! My mate had a vxr Astra with the Shiite m32 box and a smf Carnt go pod with out having a rebuild after not worth it imo

    Yea that one where it goes near the diff it get "squashed" lol its 2.5 inch cat side the goes down to 2.3 back box side, mines coming out very soon will make it more free flowing and the noise [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]

    Get the middle silencer removed the exhaust is restrictive on the centre section, decent map panel filter will see it about 230 bhp ft the price difference between these and 32s performance ain't massive difference, plus 4mo look "normal" lol [emoji106]

    Smf will destroy the end bearing and casing if your not careful, dmf are there for a reason mate
