  1. My understanding is that the exhaust gasses are more free flowing with a 6 branch over the standard manifolds and the benefits are the engine breaths easier meaning a few more ponies being released essentially
  2. Lookin good mate. Glad to see there's another hot chilli red VR here now Although mines a 3dr
  3. It's not just a 993 it's a 993 turbo I need some of that schizel in my life ooohhhh yeahhh lol

  5. well if it was me id get plate welded in and a really light skim of filler to smooth them. i just think if its full if filler it'll just crack and fall out.
  6. Facebook is a load of bollox. I can't stand the pointless updates that people put on " just nipping out to the shop" 5mins later "just back from the shop" and all that crap. I came off it 2yrs ago now and haven't missed it a single bit plus it robs too much time that could be spent messing around with our fine 6 pot steeds lol
  7. Are you talking about getting rid of the bubbly effect on the bottom of the sills? You could just get a DA dander on the and knock all the underseal back then prime and repaint them but I wouldn't recommend it really as you'll more than likely get loads of stone chips and the sills will be vulnerable to rust. I just left mine as you can hardly notice the underseal bubbles
  8. I was just bein lazy Pete sorry I'm all registered now mate
  9. Well I'm not happy, the Royals trying to take the limelight from my daughter as its her birthday today LOL

  15. Pete my daughter is exactly the same. She's 4 next month and loves HER Golf VR6 lol she goes absolutely distraught if she thinks I've gone to do some work on the golf without her lol she loves coming to the local shows with me too
  16. I'd love to see that released plus i think with the emmissions laws and all that would be fine. look at BMW theyve chopped the engine size down from a 5.0 V10 back down to a 4.0 twin turbo'd V8 o reduce the emmisions so i reckon a 3.0 twin turbo'd V6 who be fine Come on VW get it on the market NOOOWWWW
  17. thought id take part in this too 1) theres nothing wrong with the club 2) i try and offer advice on what i know but on the other hand i try to get involved in discuccions to find things out 3) i'm much in the same boat as lukey, its all down to funds time and distance for me too. As i live way up in Newcastle some of the club events are just too far to go just for the day. i had planned on having my car ready for GTI this year but to put on our stand but its not gonna happen plus the way my shifts fall at work this year means i cant get down for the weekend. 4) I try to make the most of ev
