    Picked my car up from body shop today after bit of treatment on rear arches and vento front end. Really pleased with the results except the size of the bill. LOL Not sure about the crystal front fog/indicators now though. What do you people think???? DAVER6 im sure you will have an opinion!!!!!!!!

    MOMO champion 320mm Had a 280mm momo team which looked better but didnt like driving with it, far to small and also you cant see the speedo. Team 300mm would be ideal

    yeah the gt kit is 450. The gtn is about 400 quid. Hope demon tweeks have got another set because i was about to place an order with them and want quick delivery. How lucky are you with no vat

    ok thanks for the advice. I will be getting a set of weitecs in next couple of weeks then when i get back from holiday. I will put the jom ones for sale then.

    The poor quality roads around my area are begining to get on my t*ts. I currently have some JOM coilovers which are abit firm. Will weitecs be any more comfortable. Anybody running them like to give me there opinion

    bungy that would be awesome. But if you could just clarify you have mk4 jets mounted under the bonnet.

    Old thread but im hoping somebody has some answers by now. Im thinking of something my bonnet, do mk4 jets mount to a mk3 bonnet. Hidden underneath as they would on a mk4

    Bonnet lights and front grill all you need. i bought one from local breakers yard yesterday. Have another look on the BAY of E and search VW VENTO BREAKING may get lucky

    Yeah i replaced my rear brakes recently for the mk4 rears and it works well. My last calipers were seized so i noticed a huge improvement, but if your mk3 brakes are working ok then you probably wont notice. However mk3 brakes are prone to seizing, the mk4's are made of alloy and supposed to be less prone to seizing. You need mk3 discs and pads you use the original caliper carrier and just use mk4 calipers. I think from memory you also need to change the brake hoses. as mk4 calipers have a banjo fitting. Goodridge do the conversion hoses. The handbrake cable fits as normal.

    If you upgrade all four corners then it should be nice and equal. However were are you going to get a 280mm setup

    Could also be fuel starvation. If it was miss firing because of the leads you would still expect it to start, but if the fuel aint flowing it wont. think you can check the pressure in your fuel rail by loosening a grub screw in the rail.

    the disc cant move. When your wheels are bolted on they are secured to the hub

    just smack the disc from all angles with a big hammer. Or lever with a pry bar. It will just be corroded on the hub. Put copper grease around the hub before fitting new disc to stop it happening again

    i have a jetex and i cut the 8v exhaust hanger off with angle grinder because it used to knock and vibrate on the exhaust hanger, do that or it will do your head in. Otherwise great exhaust

    Stripped my rear collies today and greased everything. When the car was in the air i lifted the rear beam up and down and it is definately the powerflex bushes that are squeaking. The bush is tight in the rear beam but twists in the chassis bracket when going over bumps. They are only 6 months old so not worn. my car is lowered and probably puts extra stress on them but i cant be doing with this creaking squeaking all the time.

    if it might be the helper springs rubbing on themselves then shall i just ditch them. What is the point of them. ihave jom coilovers

    Mine is currently doing this, Much worse on a dry hot day for some reason. Constant squeak doing my head in. I have fitted polybushes on the rear beam 12 months ago, could it be these or the shocks or what. Any advice on what to grease and with what please
