    Thats ridiculous how can ANY mechanic tell you to drive on? Even if the belt didn't drive the water pump, your STEERING is not operating as it should, so that makes it a dangerous thing to be doing anyway..... Bl**DY idiot......any wonder we get COWOY MECHANICS/GARAGES in this country??

    What's happened to the page link in listings? I mean if I'm reading a thread (take the Annual owners meet thread) that has more than 1 page, the boxes for the other pages is no longer there, so I can't go back to read responses that I've missed!! This is the same for all threads at the mo??

    Anyone wanna buy a black VR...it's decided to spring an oil leak now...p*****g water out the top and now oil out the bottom......It doesn't get treated rough, has quite a gentle life really so why does it keep p*****g me off and doing silly things.....

    CO2 reading was 1.088...YES thats right 1.088 HC reading was 0.2 Lamba reading was 0.97 The lowest CO2 reading was 0.479, as that went down, the Lamba sensor reading went up into the red.......

    Well the car failed it's MOT today.... Apparently the front wheels were put on the wrong way as the tyres are directional..NOT by me I might add, second the handbrake cable is shot, needs a newun, Third the nearside sidelight is poor...might have something to do with cracked lens and water ingress...not bad so far.......Fourth...emissions failed....this is the problem now....despite what we tried, the emissions just wouldn't come down....not sure what to do now.......

    You need to compress the springs with spring compessors then unscrew the nut holding them on the the whole lot comes off, springs and all. Just make sure you wind the compressors down evenly, oh and watch they don't fly off.....
