    Lukey the reason your neighbours drives are still full of snow is possibly the same reason mine is...we don;t need to venture out. I totally agree with what your saying, most drivers in this country have no idea about driving in arduous conditions and Craggsy is spot on with his tyres comment. Once upon a time we never saw conditions as bad as this (well the amount of snow falling so quickly over a short period) therefore a tyre law was not needed. We should implement the German ruling of a winter driving check, winter tyres and offer advice to those who cannot cope with driving in poor condit

    Fareham......one nights worth....I sh*t you not....the car didn't have a drop of snow on it when I left for London yesterday around mid-day.

    Its an OBD1 he has just replied, why the hell he didnt tell me that when I originally asked is beyond me. I have asked to mutually agree to withdraw from the sale. Part of me thinks he didn't tell me because he thought I wouldnt do my homework....which I did albeit too late.

    I have am waiting for a reply, I originally asked this 'Hi is this an OBD1 or OBD2 manifold?' reply was this 'manifolds are the same its the throttle bodys that make them obd1 or 2..just put your throttle body on to this manifold...thanks.....true or am i getting dry bum f*cked?

    Ben it wont have a throttle body as it is coming 'bare' will that make a difference?

    Last weekend me and the missus took a trip up north in her Pug 308, although I don't particularly like the Pug it sort of made me fall out of love with the VR. Mainly the MPG and the lazy way you dont really drive it you sit in it and get carried along. So much so that I contemplated going for a different car.......Monday drove to work in the VR and decided I needed mental help if I ever think about selling it lol

    I called them and the lowest they offered me was just under £1k......needless to say I said no. Also one to point out with HIC is that they are a broker and pass you onto a separate insurer.

    Have you recently changed ANY of the bulbs? If so check the bulb is the correct one.
