    Does anyone have a spare cat ? the spare one i have is split and one on car is blowing or some where i can get one cheap as none on ebay really need one quick

    noticed im loosing some pressure through the joint between cat and long pipe that goes to centre box. It is just a sleeve fitting and was leaking even though the U clamp was tight but wasnt fitted with any exhaust paste. Whats the best way to make sure its air tight ? are U clamps good enough

    just checking your still talking about the 2 bolts for each caliper which secure it to the subframe and have round heads with an allen key slot in them?

    ah cheers , will try using the ones i have and once i know all the bolts come off i will have to borrow a caliper piston tool again

    will keep soaking them , brake pads are stupidly thin so need changing soon. what do u mean by stillies ?

    i had to change rear brake pads so tried un doing the bolt that holds the caliper on with a hex key but it rounded! whats the way round this ? welding a key on ? hitting bigger key in?

    its fuse 16 i think . with motor attached use an alan key to manually wind the sunroof back and forwards , just to check it runs smoothly and the mechanisms arent jammed or broken. I had a perfectly good sunroof motor but didnt work as mechanisms where jammed

    speakers are originals so should be ok. might have to order new plastic bit then , it could be bent

    its on a 5door golf, door hasnt dropped as far as i can see. door card on drivers door keeps catching everytime i open door . i replaced all clips with oem ones and the bottom of the card clips in but then pops out whenever you use door. with it not staying attached to the clips the door card then catches. Is the plastic door card maybe bent and if so how can i sort this ? cheers , rich

    ok thanks , i felt a fair bit of vibration earlier really presend ht leads onto spark plugs and seems better than it did:) little bit of vibration but not awful

    how smooth should it run - should you feel engine vibration through steering wheel ? or should you feel through dashboard ?

    ah shit there is no tps in guernsey ! where else does genuine ? gsf ? just need some reliable leads

    after loads of research seems that genuine are the best option where can i get genuine ht leads from ? called tps but was told they they only supply companies not private buyers
