    well i left the engine running and you can see the oil seeping out of the big sensor on the left, what size is it? looks like a 23 or 24mm and doesnt look like ill get my spanners in there!

    on the golf vr6 i had a leak from the oil filter hosuing so i replaced the oil filter seal and it still leaked? i believe the leak is coming from the 2x sensors above this? are they common problem to leak? what sensors are they and who supplies them?? :-)

    on my golf vr6 the battery light was always on for about 1 month now, driven hard or normally. voltage check was 11.93 when car was running so battery was getting no charge. checked/cleaned all earths and wires and all ok so it was down to the alternator. bought a brand new 90amp alternator (i havent fitted it yet)! now today the battery light came off when driving hard! pulled into my drivaway battery light came on, revved it to 2000rpm and battery light went off! any ideas????? :-(

    your cat isnt blocked is it causing a missfire? checl coil pack as well for arching. spray a fine mist of water over it at night.

    battery light is on the vr6 now and i have to charge the battery every 5 days or so, before i whip the alternator off is there anything else that can stop the battery from charging like dodgy earths, if so where are the earths for this? regards :-)

    because i have no air con etc..... a 70 amp is £74.99 on ebay but im not a lover of ebay! 70amp was on the car anyway!
