    am i thinking heater matrix?? its leaking in drivers footwell and passenger footwell. cant replace the bugger as my hand is in a cast for 6 weeks :-( :-(

    had a guy come round today yo do the tracking on my 1992 golf vr6 with his laser system! he said check the track rod ends are the same! which they looked the same!! problem is the car is 1mm out either side so thats 2mm, you are only allowed 1mm tollerance with these cars, so 0.5mm either side. its pointing in so the outside of the tyre will wear. there was not enough thread on the inside of the track rod end to wind the steering rack arm into it, so i ask, what is the right track rod ends i need to do this with so the tracking is spot on? i got the parts from GSF.

    got an auction running but didnt add a reserve price?? can you put a reserve in if the auction is running and has bids on it? cant seem to do it and dont want to relist it for another 10 days :-(

    done the lower arms today, you have to raise the engine a little with a engine hoist to get the drivers side lower arm out and thats it, driver side lower arm was a bastard to get out but got there in the end!

    sorted my mate had a ball joint splitter! easy with a hammer! :-) got the new ball joint in and when i keep doing the nut up with the 19mm spanner it keeps spinning so it wont tighten so im going to lower it onto a axle stand so it will tighten! :-)

    any other ways of getting the ball joint on the lower arm out of the hub on the golf vr6??? i havent got a heat gun and smashing the **** out of it with a hammer and chisel still doesnt remove it :-(

    as title, its bigger than a 19mm spanner i have!

    as title, what is your preffered option with the golf vr6, turbo or supercharge? :-) would imagine the turbo is a right git to do as it will sit at the rear of the engine unless you take it out.

    just a quick one took the blue coilovers off the golf vr6 mk3 and noticed the suspension mounts on coilovers and standard rear suspension are the opposite way around, so what is the correct way how the mounts should be fitted??
