  1. No vagcom sorry. It's a mk2 and I'm struggling to source an obd port that isnt broken or a complete rip off. 0 280 150 558 is for injectors.
  2. Not got round to compression test. That will be Monday morning for that. And I have found out its a c2 chip. Not stealth.
  3. Apparently it has a c2 chip but mapped by stealth? I am not entirely sure as I didn't do it.
  4. Got it running mint on around 3.2 bar. Left it. 20 minutes later it spat its dummy out and was running very lean to the point where it would stall. After some research it turns out that the c2 chip doesn't need the lambda sensor plugged in on some older versions of software? Will try this today.

  6. Will try and put it back down to 3 bar today and see if that makes any difference...
  7. Plugs, get ngk bkr7e's and gap them too 0.22"
  8. Yeah I will do one later towards the end of the week. The gasket is reasonably new and it has arp head and rod bolts. I might take the head off seeing as they are re usable bolts and have a look what's going on down there. See what the compression test brings back.
  9. Is that due to the low comp pistons or it's just knackard?
  10. http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j438/michael5556/42720f63.mp4 There you go.
  11. It will idle for around 20 seconds then go lean and just stall. Randomly. Also it's not boosting and I have a suspicion that the wastegate is stuck open? The turbo is also making a rattling noise which worries me a bit. It starts now though. I have a video of the afr gauge. Give me a minute...
  12. Right, no luck so far. It runs but very hot. Got rid of the dump valve for now. Fuel pressure is at 4bar. Do I need more than a 1/4 tank with the Bosch 044? What air fuel ratio does every run? It's on around 12-13 on idle. Too low?
  13. Get the bam all day long. It's the 225 engine so a good remap and you will be on the 250 mark. They have stronger internals too, conrods, pistons and pins etc. I think the crank may be stronger too.
  14. I think I will just be down for the Saturday. As tattoo park is on the Sunday. Unless you guess can persuade me.. Can I change my mind on the day?
  15. Your rear axle should have one of those already you basically want it set up like a mk2 etc but with larger brakes etc...
  16. You need new master cylinder, with two outlets Possibly new servo depending on what you m/c is out of. 3/8 brake line. 3/8 male brake fittings Pipe flaring kit Pipe cutter 2 brass T pieces Then you can remove the whole abs pump and loom and ecu. That's how to get rid completely.
  17. Cleaned the front bumper an gave it some back to black. Also fitted the new indicators, black. It was like this... Then this.. Got bored of not having a radio and I wanted to keep ash tray etc so.. Then Cardboard template
  18. I would probably go for 4s and 3 k sounds good but extend it a bit more too like 6250 or 6300rpm. 2nd gear is a debatable one to be honest. In some cars it's fine but with the vr6 gearbox second isn't as amazing strong. Especially when your smashing 150 extra through it. Third is the best gear to start nitrous with. As for the road legal aspect, I'm 80% sure that it's fine to have it in your car all the time, fine to have it all set up etc as long as it safe, but the bottle must not be opened when on the road. As it means you have been using it and they know if you've been using it then you ha
  19. Update time. New spark plugs BKR7E gapped at 0.25" Got the loom I needed from inters thanks to a generous member. heavy duty paint stripper white wing stipped sanded down new wing door strips on with new grommits and clips painted the corrado radiator had to cut a slot out of the slam panel to get access to the dipstick. should have more progress today, Thanks for looking.
  20. Well basically you want to start off small and work you way up. Make sure your You should start with a flick switch, also have a wide open throttle switch. You can mount it under the throttle pedal. You also want to have a non latching switch that you hold on when you want nitrous. Do not use it in first gear ever, try not to use it in second. third is fine etc. dont have your bottle open on the road as if you get pulled over its illegal and you will get in a lot of trouble. remote bottle openers are good if you need any more info just ask.
  21. So you want to decrease the power of the nitrous? If so you will need different solenoids and jets. Try won. Wizards of nos. they are uk based and very helpfull.
  22. Yeah I think my mk2 vrt will have a good go...
