Not got the log book yet. But it is registered as a 2861cc which would make it a 2.9 ABV? The bloke I bought it off thinks it is out of a mk3 which would make it a 2.8 AAA right? Is there any where on the block that would confirm it?

Hi, I resently bought a mk2 VR6 turbo. I am trying to get a few servicing parts for it but can't work out which engine it is or what it has come from. How can I find what it is and what it is out of? Also what spark plugs should i use? Any help would be awesome! Cheers
